A lot of people love One Note. It has a long buffet of features that can take some time to digest. I would give Evernote.com a look. It's easy to use, has a lightweight desktop app, includes mobile access, and it's free! It may not have the cornucopia of colorful containers like One Note, but it might be enough to satisfy your needs.
