In the past couple weeks three people I know have passed away. One was a friend here at BYU. He died in a longboarding accident up the canyon. Then my 24 year old cousin Lisa took her own life. This has been the hardest for me to deal with. And yesterday 2 very good friends of mine had their dad pass away from cancer. It's lead me to a lot of thinking about life and how fragile it is. While I was driving last night I imagined how it would be if I got in an accident and caused someone else's death. How guilty I would feel, and all the people that it would affect. I've also been thinking about my family members and what I would do if one of them died. I would fall apart. I really wouldn't know how to carry on. Life is so weird, and amazing. Sometimes it seems like it will never end and other times it flies by too fast. We don't know how much time we have here with the people we love. So I guess I'm just trying to say that we should never take our friends and family for granted. We should love everyone we meet and make the most of every situation. Moral of the story: Call your mom right now and tell her you love her!!
