One of the best things about Halloween is Haunted Houses!! This year a group of our friends took on the HUGE project of turning their entire house into one. Last night was our first night running it. We had over 400 people go through in just 3 hours. It was amazing! My character was an abused trailer trash wife. I spent the entire night getting yelled at and dragged across a kitchen floor by my abusive husband. It was awesome. My voice is completely gone from screaming and crying/begging for help. All my fingernails got ripped off during the process of grabbing at peoples ankles as they came by. Someone even stepped on my hand pretty hard at one point and practically broke my fingers. Claire did an awesome job giving me lots of fake bruises, but that won't be necessary tonight now that I have plenty of REAL bruises. My knees, hips, butt, elbows, arms, etc. are all very banged up. It was all worth it just to see the reactions of everyone that went through. I'm not exaggerating when I say that there were girls IN TEARS that could barely keep walking through the house. Oh, and there were plenty of guys that were just as terrified. Despite a few technical difficulties along the way I'd say we all did an amazing job and I can't wait for tonight!!

i forgot to tell you, a boy in the math lab said "claire the haunted house was so good! i went friday. the girl in the basement that gets dragged across the floor... so scary!" i was like "ya thats my roommate." yay!
