I spent many hours of my childhood dressing up in this woman's clothes for fun. Now I wear them for real. I owe almost all my jewelry, several dresses, a few pairs of shoes and endless compliments to her, my great grandmother!
The grass is always greener on the other side.
The boys are always cuter in the other ward.

This is my great grandmother Gladys Nielsen Smith. The first few pictures were taken in 1918 while on her mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Eastern States. She was later married to Andrew Kimball Smith, a son of Joseph F. Smith. In the last picture she is holding the hand of her daughter, my grandma Ann.

My mother is on the roof wearing a climbing harness cleaning out gutters. My dad is belaying from the other side of the house. Cool parents.
